Sycamore Cottage gives you the best of both worlds - close to main tourist sites and peace and quiet at the end of a busy day, full of beautiful scenery and birdsong. The Dutch Pancake House and Groes Inn on the doorstep are an added bonus.

Nothing to dislike but be aware like many of the country roads in area, lane to cottage is narrow.

Beds, sofas n chairs all comfy, n the cottage, as a whole, had a comfy feeling to it. The kitchen was a great space with a double oven cooker (!!!) and all the equipment you could want, they even have kitchen scales!. The views from the conservatory are amazing, plus plenty of local wildlife shows up which was lovely to watch. There is an en-suite shower to the downstairs bedroom and a large bath upstairs. Conwy water gardens and The Dutch Pancake shop are literally 30 seconds walk (that's at slow speed). Despite the closeness of these the cottage is quiet and peaceful. It's an excellent place to discover, or re-visit the beauty and diversity of North Wales. I will definitely be going back to this cottage.

Everything was lovely except we found in the kitchen some of the oven pans were greasy and didn't look like had been cleaned.

As above - just the kitchen pans and chopping boards felt greasy and didn't look good. Maybe these could be refreshed with some new ones.

Location, charm, conservatory and views from it.

There was nothing we didn’t like but it would have been more comfortable if the size of the double bed was a bit bigger, if the bedding was less decorative and pillows softer and if there was a shower head in the upstairs bathroom.
