Tadgh's Cottage

Lovely countryside away from the city - peaceful and serene. Good hot water and heating. Kitchen facilities great - we were able to cook a full meal on the stove. Loved the fresh water!

Perfect location for visiting County Clare, right in centre of West Clare. The house exceeded our expectations when it came to cleanliness and warmth! It is rare to get a properly heated house in Ireland. Very modern with modern appliances and even decent water pressure in shower. The owner was quick to respond to any queries we had.

The 5th bed was not a bed but a sunbed. May be ok for a child bur not for an adult.

Tadghs Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay as a family. The cottage was spotless clean, had all mod cons (wifi etc) & we loved how spacious & cosey it is. It is driving distance to all the local tourist spots (Cliffs of Moher, Father Teds House & The Burren to name a few. The location is so peaceful & we felt very safe too which is always good when you are away with small kids. Alan the owner was so lovely to deal with & always on hand if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and great facilities. Could easily have made this home for a week or more.

Lovely little house in the quiet countryside, not to far from the places we wanted to visit on our family break, didn't meet the owners at all, key was left in a locked safe box on arrival, this didn't bother us not meeting them, as we really wanted a nice quiet no fuss break.

The only thing I would say is that it was a cold day, and maybe considering arrival time had been given, maybe the heating could have been put on as we had kids with us and it had been nearly 5hr drive

Very comfy cottage for a stay in County Clare. Close to many attractions including the cliffs of Kilkee, Cliffs of Moher and Hook Head. Good beds, lovely washer and dryer, cosy and warm, good amenities for cooking. Great responsive host. Would loved to have stayed for a longer time.

Tidy and great value

Single bed wasn’t a bed and kids couldn’t sleep in it, only suitable for toddlers

Very comfortable double beds, newly renovated and well equipped kitchen; very comfortable sofa. The cottage is warm, cosy and easy to heat. We liked the effect of the fireplace.

The extra bed was not comfortable and too small.
