Bara Beach is a fantastic choice for spending a relaxed stay at the beach, with the added benefit of seeing one of the best sunsets that I have seen in Sri Lanka. The staff is friendly, and so are the dogs who are around and about.

La ubicación es genial. El precio que se pide es irrisorio para lo que se aporta. Estuve durmiendo en la habitación con vistas a la playa y menuda pasada!!! El staff era amigable y tenía buen rollo.

Es verdad que noté un interés en que comiéramos allí. Los precios eran ligeramente altos para lo que se que es sri Lanka pero siempre te queda el puesto de en frente donde venden comida frita barata. La playa la verdad es que tenía mucha corriente, no sé si era esos días pero complicado/peligroso bañarse.

Proximity to the beach is it's only saving grace.

Ramshackle construction, Windows wouldn't close and rain water flooded the floor. Room lights didn't work. Cockroaches under the mattress. No ventilation for the toilet. One man kitchen, so don't expect any measure of quality.

The view, food, hosts, and crew were all exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay! The dogs at the residence were incredibly sweet, and the location was very convenient, with tech shops, small convenience stores nearby, and a bus stop right outside. It felt very safe at night, even as young travelers, and they ensured we felt secure and comfortable. Outside, there's a charming dinner spot perfect for couples on dates, overlooking the beach with breathtaking views and the fresh air, complemented by delicious food from the best chef! Their pizzas are especially lovely.

We would have appreciated more comfortable pillows in the rooms, as the current ones seem quite old and were not very comfortable to sleep on TT. The bathrooms appeared a bit untidy and could have been cleaner. Improved lighting and additional space would make them more functional.

They didn't answer my phone, so I didn't go there.
