The welcome hamper in the property was wonderful. A resl treat snd super start to our holiday. Also, the owners had taken time to prepare a comprehensive information book which helped us learn more abput the area. The equipment in the house was all fantastic. Kids especially enjoyed all the board games. The owners very very welcoming and were on hand to help us when we needed anything. Immaculately clean and tidy cottage. It was a high standard.

The only thing we found tricky was having one shower in the property but this was really because we were a family with 4 children.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Dee and Johnny, who throughout our stay were attentive and helpful. They gave us a wonderful hamper full of useful food and treats which we enjoyed in the beautiful cottage, but for our daughter magical highlight however has it to the Elf hame in the beautiful gardens overlooking the sea. We only wished we had stayed longer as there was so much to see and it was such a wonderful place to stay.

The location of the property was perfect. The owners were an exceptional couple who were friendly and helpful. We were greeted on arrival by the owners who had left a wonderful hamper which was very welcome.

A fantastic place to spend a few days. Great hosts, super location, the cottage was perfect for us to relax in. Really nice touch with the welcome basket packed with essentials and homemade delights

There is nothing not to like! Perfect spot for a group of family or friends or both! Great spacious communal areas, great location for the coast and also a straight forward drive from Belfast! So quaint and picturesque but with a modern edge inside whilst keeping its features, it’s perfect!

We loved everything!

Beautiful, spacious home surrounded by lovely, lush gardens. Gorgeous views of farms, hills, and ocean. Hosts were so welcoming!

We loved everything about The Barn at Ballycairn!
