Il Torchio

Very modern apartment designed by the owner who himself is an architect. The apartment is very spacious and a similar suite in a hotel in Lake Como area will be more than $3000 per night. All the appliances are modern. The location was away from all the tourist mad house. Its a quiet location where you are amongst the locals. Hence all the amenities, restaurants and grocery stores cater to the locals and hence are very reasonable. The views of the lake are beautiful. The village itself has a medieval feel

Its not a criticism, as we were prepared, but you need your own car. Also rent the smallest car possible as all the parking spots on Lake Como are extremely tight.

Very comfortable and nicely prepared holiday apartment. Lots of space. Nice & well equipped kitchen with a private terrace, space in the bathroom, washing machine in place, bedroom with a second terrace with wonderful lake view. Excellent for chilling! Very quiet place, no cars around, totally suited for relaxation, escape from all busy places. Stefania and her family are great hosts. Highly recommended.
