Nicola is definitely the best property owner I’ve met in Europe. He is super nice and helpful. If you need a boat trip on the Como lake, feel free to ask him and he will introduce you to some very nice boat captains. There are restaurants, bars and a grocery store near the property. Also the bus and ferry stops are close.

This place is perfect for a Lake Como trip without all the crowds. To start, the host, Nikola, was easy to communicate with, super friendly, and helpful. He met us near the place to show us where to park and to show us the apartment (he also had a bottle of Prosecco and Beer for us). #2 The apartment has been recently remodeled and still smells fresh. All amenities are new and modern, and you have a full kitchen for longer stays if you want to cook your own meals. You get two floors to yourself so there is plenty of space. #3 The Town: amazing, quiet, small, authentic Italian town where friendly locals hang out on the weekend. You have four places to eat and drink and a small marina, so you don't even have to go anywhere. A bus stop near the place will get you to Como (15 min) and Bellagio (40 min). There is also a water taxi you can take directly from the marina, or Nikola can help you rent a boat that will be dropped off for you. You can have a fancy dinner or grab a pizza to go with a beer from a place up the street (trust me, you might not even leave this place for a day or two).

We liked everything, but for some who are looking for a view, this place does not have a lake view, but it is right around the corner from the water! Also, for those looking to swim, I don't think you can swim in this area.

The location and host were great, not a tourist place, very comfortable and highly recommended.

No air conditioning, so if reality hot could be an issue but we were there in the end of June and was warm but not an issue.

Wonderful host and a perfect place to stay in Torno. It is not directly accessible by car but the host is very helpful and the advantage is to be in a quiet street away from traffic. Access to the lake a few steps away, and to local restaurants. The house is very clean and spacious enough to accommodate a small family. We stayed with kids and had a great time!
