The Barn

Stayed with my Dad and 7mo for a nearby family event. Beautiful, clean, very comfortable accommodation, tastefully decorated. Owners were extremely helpful, kind and easily contacted. We would like to stay again and it was a shame we couldn't stay for longer! Highly recommended.

The size of the property is good for a family . The upstairs living room is a nice touch with access to garden

The barn is such a gorgeous property, it is spacious and well equipped. Everything that you need for a short stay away from home.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Hone had plenty of space for our family of five. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice to have the owners close enough to help with Amy questions we had. Even met Mabel the dog, making our vet nurse daughter very happy. Would highly recommend it to all.

Very quiet and relaxing high finish and beautiful surroundings

The property itself is gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and was in a convenient location for us. Host was friendly, bonus them being next door, my kids loved seeing their dog pottering about! Would have been lovely to get out in the lovely garden for a bbq but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side. The kids loved the chocolate buttons left for them, and we all really enjoyed the shortbread, lovely touches in a lovely abode. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property 👌

There was just a few small lack of attention to detail- no oven mitts or chopping board available for use in an otherwise very equipped kitchen. My two 5 year olds struggled to sleep until 10pm when it was dark because their room was so bright, I think if you are advertising this as a property to sleep 6 people serious consideration into a blind to the sky window should be given. Amenities stated toiletries and boardgames were included, bar hand soap and a couple of books this was not the case, it wouldn't have been an issue if we had known, we could have packed accordingly. Consideration to the idea of a TV in the upstairs lounge could also be beneficial if 6 guests so 2 different viewings could be made. Also, I know duck feather duvets and pillows is luxurious so understand your choice, but I would have preferred to have been aware of this beforehand as I have a significant allergy and could have brought alternative bedding if I had known. I don't mean to sound negative! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but just wanted to share some thoughts to consider.

Beds were very uncomfortable and small had very poor sleep and towels were very old and scratchy Attention to these details would have changed our view completely We can’t return when we know the beds are so old and uncomfortable

There’s no pub in the village

Property is very spacious and of a very high standard, ideal for a family break.
