Käbruotsa farmhouse

The house is great, has everything you need for a good getaway in nature, plenty of space. We enjoyed the sauna, the tub (cold dip after sauna or heat it up for a midnight dip). Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and barbeque area is great to spend time in. Taavo (the host) was very responsive and helpful, showed us around and helped with renting a fishing boat.

The property doesn't have a washing machine which is quite useful when travelling with kids that require lots of clothes.

Great property and facilities! Taavo was a great host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Farmhouse sleeps many and had everything needed for a nice stay.

Possibility to lock doors was only thing we would have wanted, given valuables that had to be left in the house when we were out.

Lovely location

The stay at Käbruotsa was really terrific! A special thank you to Taavo, the host. He is one of the warmest persons I have met! Very friendy, very attentive! He met us at the property when we arrived, explained everything. On top of that, the next day he left us 12 fresh caught sea perch fish at the outdoor fridge! That was a feast! :) A true island experience! The farm itself is very spacious, there are 3 bedrooms in the main house and extra large upstairs bedroom with 6 beds in another house right next by. There is also big wood heated sauna, a hot tube, a lot of space in the garden. Right next to the house we also found some disc golf stuff we could play with and a trampoline. The sea is approximately a 10 minute walk away, so very close. The farm looks like a true Saaremaa farm. Main house kitchen is very well equipped and everything works with ease, the outside grill was also awesome. In summary, a very good experience! PS: highly recommend Koigi bog trail for summer hiking experience - a magical place, felt as if we were in some jungle, the trail is great, the colors were vivid, the bog lakes were surprisingly big. PS2: approximately 30 minute drive away from Käbruotsa is Koguva village in Muhu island. Highly recommend to visit Bottenresto for a gourmet dinner or lunch.

The house and surroundings are picturesque and us Finns also enjoyed the wood heated sauna and barrel very much. Also enjoyed cooking with the charcoal grill in the outdoor kitchen (watch out for the fox, though). The host, Taavo, is genuine and warm-hearted , and he lives close in case you need anything during your stay.

No airconditioning but Taavo said he put up mosquito nets after our stay as per our suggestion so you can keep windows open in the night. The tapwater smells sulforous but that's how it is in Saaremaa (and not just Käbruotsa).
