No parking right outside

Very easy access to the key safe. Lovely spot on Catherines Hill. The hosts were very helpful, especially when one of our children got sick and we had to stay an extra night.

Very nice location but it is a bit difficult to park near the property so expect to walk 5-10 minutes to your car. When we arrived the house was very cold and the heating didn't work. Somebody had to come round to fix it, but we were cold for over 24 hours (we probably should have been offered a discount for this inconvenience). This person then pulled the front door handle off which reduced the security somewhat. It would be nice to have some better quality towels for the bathroom, and perhaps a few kitchen essentials for guests on arrival.

Lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable and lovely books and art works around the house.

The step out of the kitchen sometimes caught me unawares.

Having freeview on the TV might have been a nice addition - a minor point

Location was good.

There was a strong musty/ mildewy odor when we entered. There was also peeling paint and plaster and what appeared to be black mold (photos taken) upstairs and downstairs. While the owner indicated the roof had leaked and been fixed it appeared that the roof had been leaking for a while. Stayed one night out of six, as we arrived later in the day. No refund from the owner as we requested. When contacted by Booking.com the owner indicated he had said we could cancel the booking. If he had, of course we would have accepted, as a way to get a refund.
