Little dream house in a perfect spot

The location is beautiful and secluded. You have a nice view of the neighboring peaks and a big meadow your dog(s) can play at - just watch out for the deer. There is a hiking path passing near the house, going towards the mountains. There is a nice big brick oven in the house to keep you warm.

The last 50 meters of the track to the house are not properly maintained, so don't try to drive up if your car is low riding or you have no experience in driving on such a road. Some warning about this in the description of the property would have been nice. In the end, we decided to leave the car parked the whole time we stayed since we didn't want to risk damaging the car (and the track was extra muddy and slippery due to the rain). When we stayed in the house, it was infested with flies (probably due to the meadow being covered with manure). There were no fly-traps in the house so we had to contact the owner to bring some. Even after applying the traps and catching a lot of them, the remaining flies were still obnoxious. The TV does not really work (although the property is advertized as having a TV). All in all, we expected better for the price.

The house is located in a very secluded area. The owner was very nice and met us so that we would not get lost. Great view and absolute silence. Every day, deer came out on the meadow in front of the house. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, in the garden there are two comfortable sun loungers and a barbecue.

The pillows are not very comfortable, there is almost no internet signal, but this can be a positive thing.

Unique location, right on the edge of the forest. Amazing views of the mountains and nature. Peace and quiet.

We especially loved the location and the "guests" we had every morning. Herds of roe deer and mouflons visited in the morning for breakfast and once more in the evening. We recommend this place for people who really want to get away from the noise and crowds. It is a great starting point for hiking.

The access road (the last 20 meters) could use some work because it was a bit tricky getting to the house in a hatchback. Also, a road sign pointing to the house would be helpful.

A charming cottage with unmatched coziness in an idyllic location, I think think that sums it up perfectly. Our pets (dog&cat) loved exploring the surroundings, and we, the humans, loved seeing deer grazing in the meadow every morning and evening.

Some kitchen/paper towels would be nice to have. And maybe a new pan as well.

Name of the place described it perfectly

We had an amazing time in Slovenia and in the hut. It’s really a great place to calm down and relax at the lovely fire station or enjoy even rainy days on the cozy sofa. We took hikes directly from the house. Tolsti Vrh is recommended and dog owners will be happy to have a tired and relaxed dog after the hike :) When we ran out of water supply the owner got it fixed within 2 hours.

WIFI worked ok. When you have issues with the TV reception the trick is to reboot the little receiver box.
