Christine was a wonderful host. The house was toasty when we arrived and we were personally welcomed. There was ample of everything and the house had a lovely homey feel and beautiful views.

We loved the location, the cleanliness, and the coziness. It housed the four of us nicely, and gave us a nice place to unwind from our travels.

The mattresses were very thin - we could feel the springs in our sides - so we did not sleep all that well. Everything else was so nice, though, that it was offset. We would stay there again - we would just like it more with better mattresses... LOL.

"Great start and end for climbing Ben Bulbin"

It was a quiet country cottage. The only sounds we heard were the birds in the trees anf the cows in the fields. The purpose of our visit was to climb Ben Bulbin. The starting point is only 10mins by car. Also very easy access to Sligo town, Rosses Point and Lissadell house. We visited the Carrowmore Megalithic site and Glencar waterfall which are nearby. Christina was very inviting and left us with everything we needed.
