Hale Pua Villa - Hibiscus Suite

A lovely apartment just across the street from the beach (not visible from the apt.), and Kathy the owner is wonderful!

Nice owner, conviennent location

The horrible loud motor noise of refrigerator just four feet from the bed that ran incessantly the entire first night, then intermittently, that the owner couldn’t do anything about. It kept us up and made us miserable. No one should be subjected to such decibels !

Perfect location by Poipu beach where we could see turtles basking in the sun. She provided things like beach chairs and cooler boxes which were handy. Host was lovely, she was not fussed about letting us check in early and was super responsive to all our queries. We would come back if we we're in Kauai again!

The Hibiscus suite studio is impeccably clean and well appointed with everything you need for a short or long stay. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher & washing machine. The king bed is deliciously comfortable but be warned that the incessant crowing of wild roaming roosters (ubiquitous throughout Kaua’i) will make this an early to bed - early to rise holiday. Just yield to that circumstance and go with it. The rest of Poi’pu also accepts it as most restaurants close by 9:30 and there is no nightlife. The beach is 100m across the road. There is a lovely tropical garden surrounding your patio. Hibiscus suite feels very authentically Kaua’i. The owner is lovely and responsive to any requests or queries. She was also able to give us an early check-in which was very kind and appreciated.

You may hear noise if the other unit in the block is occupied, however, just message the owner upstairs and she will deal with it.

One minor thing: shower with a flexible head/ hose would be fantastic
