L'Arabesco Apartment

Lovely quiet location in small village uphill from Amalfi. Easy to reach with local public transport. Beautiful views from balcony of apartment. Very nice locals. No need to use taxi (60€) but get bus ticket to Pogerola (1.50€ per person one way, 20 minute bus ride)

There was no caffetierra, coffee (only instant) or cereal bowls. No vinegar, very dodgy oil if you want to cook. Bring your own toiletries. A bit difficult to make out the opening hours of the local supermarket on weekends. Mattress in en-suite bedroom had a dodgy smell.

The Views from the balcony are breathtaking . Raffaele the host was very pleasant Friendly village A great find

The apartment was very nice, but the view was really fantastic!!

A cutting board and kitchen knives would have been handy. And a couch instead of the extra bed in the living room would have made our stay even more confortable, but these are just minor details.

The host is very polite and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, a huge advantage of the place are the two bedrooms + two bathrooms. We liked the apartment very much, and our stay was comfortable.

There was no coffee machine, as an only disadvantage.

The Apartment has a beautiful view. The staff is super helpful.

Everything was very nice. If you have mobility issues, please note that are a few stairs you need to climb to get to the apartment.

I paid $890 for 3 nights and it was too far from beach 3000 steps plus 120 steps from our place to bus stop. We have to wait for bus 30-40 minutes then go down for 25-30 minutes or walk through steps (3000) which was 40 minutes walk . Then we shower first day and wanted clean towels , Rafaelo told me that he can’t give clean towels , we can wash in washing machine and use again, but it was raining for second night and all third day until we left and towels was not dry because of rain . He told me I need to pay €30 if I want clean towels. It’s so embarrassing because I paid almost $900 for 3 nights and he wants more to give clean towel . We didn’t have shampoo or conditioner . He said there is shower gel and we can wash hair and body . I just wondering is it cheap motel or do I need to beg for getting new towel? In kitchen pots were oily and disgusting to use , all was damaged and dangerous to make food inside that pot and pans.

the apartment had a very unpleasant smell. The refrigerator was not working. The location was good but I wouldn't recommend it.
