Central Riverside Retreat - Taupo Holiday Home

Close to town. Comfortable bed. Quiet location with nice view. Beer in fridge and ice cream in freezer!

Shocked at small size of accommodation. Cupboards and drawers overstocked and small rooms/hallway over-furnished. Tiny bathroom with zero space (no face cloths, no basin plug, no power point). Kitchen needs a bread knife! Property vastly oversold.

Location was perfect as were heading back up to Rapids Rd. It had a great view over the river and was nice and quiet. Much nicer stay than in a motel.

The toilet seat was a pain. Needs to be installed properly.

The location was perfect with beautiful views over the river, marina and mountain. The house was very clean. The space was bright and airy with the many windows providing plenty of natural light. The kitchen was fully equipped and immaculate. We did not get to use the deck due to the weather but it was very spacious. The Wi-Fi was good. Short walk to shops and amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Can't fault anything except maybe the dining room chairs were a little uncomfortable as you sank down into the seat when you sat on them. Other than that, it was fabulous!
