Attractive house, very central location, super friendly hosts.

We (a family of four) stayed there on a July Thursday and Friday night and could hardly sleep before 3 am because of very crowded and noisy cafe terraces just below our windows; no loud music but shouting and singing until sunrise. So not recommended unless you want to party yourself!

Location was fantastic. We loved the house, decor was modern cozy. Manuela and husband were fantastic and very helpful.

The major complaints are the bed in the master was uncomfortable. The lack of ac for the warm summer nights. And the noise from the bar/ cafes just under the windows.

Great position, right in the heart of Aveiro. The couple who met us were really welcoming and helpful. Very cute decor!

A bit noisy at night. Handrail for the stairs was loose and there was no plug in the kitchen sink.

Location was fabulous and Casa de Mercado is quirky with 2 good sized bedrooms and a small living room.

Kitchen wasn’t really geared to cooking own meals, although there are plenty of good restaurants near by. Needs mugs and only had small tea cups. Downstairs bathroom shower did not drain properly and flooded the floor. Sofas and chairs could be more comfortable and bed pillows were thin.

Everything. The house was gorgeous. Location fabulous. Don’t bother looking at anywhere else to stay as this place is it.

Kind hosts met us at our car and helped us navigate parking.

We really loved Manuele and Norman. They were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a problem with a water leak in the downstairs bathroom and they were easy to reach and most eager to get the problem fixed.

The beds were old and very well used. Big valley in the middle. The furniture was IKEA and very small, not comfortable. No closets or dressers for clothing storage. The bar just below the apartment stays open till 3am and is very loud. If you are a young person into the nightlife scene it would be perfect, but for older people who enjoy a little quite a night not so good. Also the police showed up on our last day looking for the owner. Something about the apartment was suppose to be their place of residences. They were pleasant but made us a bit uncomfortable.

charming little house right in the center of everything! perfect during the day -

challenging at night with the loud bar down below - right under the window of the room with twin beds. Ear plugs a must and a loud fan. Cigarette smoke from below was also annoying. Pull out sofa was not comfortable for my children.
