Wood Court, Troon

This was our second time at Wood Court. Comfortable and cosy flat. Beautiful view over the water to Arran. Great for dog friends. Ideal for local pubs and restaurants...dog friendly. Flat lovely and welcoming. Wee whisky to warm your heart. Warm. Cosy. Definitely return. Xx

So the reason I booked this apartment was the sea view, which was amazing! 10/10 We watched sunrise,s and sunsets which was beautiful, apartment is practically on waters edge. Kitchen had lots of teas, little biscuits. Twin room had basket of kids stuff which is nice touch. Apartment was warm on arrival which I had asked for heating to be put on prior to arrival so was welcoming to go in and it to be warm. Parking was great lots of parking at rear of property.

I would say the decor is dated as is bathroom's. Kitchen needs a good thorough clean, inside drawers etc, kitchen utensils need updating as all plastic. Dishwasher would be good. Carpets in bedrooms dirty and need replaced, sofa needs professionally cleaned, as grubby. Windows in apartment where extremely dirty where it spoils looking at view, so we cleaned half the living room windows inside and out, to enjoy view better (which it did) something that should be important in the cleaning schedule given views! Mattress in master room makes noise when you turn around not thee best, bedding could do with plain white updating, was clean but very dated. The rusty and corroded balcony bannister is awful looking 100% needs replaced. I think if flat had a overhaul owners could charge more £ for bookings as location and views are breathtaking. Bathroom radiators don't heat bathrooms up great. Needs also to be clearer when looking for keybox which one is one for flat. We had to ask a person who was entering another building if we where at right door as no numbers above doors.

Beautiful decor and views. Spacious living room. Everything worked well. Plenty of room for us. Good location, easy to find and plenty of parking.

Some dishes a little dirty but easily fixed with a wash. Easily missed.

Location with parking facilities

Tired. Carpets need cleaning or replacing. Beds creek. Oven needs cleaning. Heating thermostat doesn’t work. Communal hallway needs cleaning and damaged ceiling needs repairing. Lack of bedside lights.

The property was excellent as was the location. The views over the Isle of Arran were stunning.

Lovely apartment. Exactly as photos. Fantastic location. Very quiet.

It was very central and easy to walk to the town and couldn’t be any closer to the beach! Great location.

The stairs leading up to the flat but that’s just because we were 3 “older” ladies!! 😂 Also the light didn’t work in the kitchen and the heating was very annoying. We couldn’t get it to come on and stay on!
