Good location, clean bathrooms, kitchen, bedding and towels. Bedding protectors and duvet new and clean on double bed.

Boiler was off and the boiler instructions seemed to be for an old boiler or something, they did not match the new boiler in the kitchen, they need updating and to be made clearer if the intention is to always leave the boiler off for guest arrival. Also there appeared to be 2 separate boiler controllers left in the kitchen, with different numbers showing. Although I did manage to get the boiler on by eventually pressing Manual on the controller left near the instructions, so we did have hot water on demand which was good, the heating came on and off at various times including through the night. Didn’t have instructions for the controllers. The double bedroom had an old wrinkly and badly stained carpet. Ginger coloured towels faded/non faded looked strange and out of place in blue bedroom with blue shower room. There was no bedside lamp in small twin room, sockets unreachable behind a bed, beds difficult to move to get to sockets as one bed had no castors on. After struggling to move beds to get in to reach the sockets, we had to take an extension lead from the sitting room to plug in so that bed could be moved back and there were accessible sockets to use. Very dirty windows spoiled the good view.

Changed my review after finding out the electrical and plumbing issues I raised while there have been a problem since at least October. Oven and showers don't work and the dishes were greasy. Owner responded by saying these things have never happened before and I should check the manual for the oven.... no more help or sending anyone out and it appears it's been broken for months according to an October review. Advertising facilities they don't have and ignoring anyone who asks for a fix. As soon as I figure it out I'll be complaining to booking and have them check the reviews. Allowing people to stay in an electrically unsound building is ilegal and they have known this since October. I like to cook too and wasted a full shops worth because I had to eat out. The owner will be held accountable.

Location is perfect. Views are amazing. Locality great. Very cosy and clean.

A key for the balcony windows would be nice to be able to open them for better views and fresh air.

Everything you need is in this apartment they have thought of Everything very well equipped clean warm cosy lovely sea views x

The location and view is always spectacular. Nice apartment plenty of room clean and tidy. I am originally from Troon and always love coming back, although the circumstances this time were sad.

Only one complaint is that the ensuite bathroom shower is needing attention as there was no hot water coming through.

View from living room. Everything you could need was available. Host left a selection of wee drams to taste if we wanted. Xmas tree was set up and was nice touch. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely return.

Could not fault anything.
