The location was just what we needed to relax.

No real negatives.

Wonderful location, really fantastic host. It was even better than we imagined, Vanda turns a wonderful location into a really comfortable and pleasurable place to stay. Every detail is carefully chosen to make your stay as easy and nice as possible.

Nothing, it was perfect

Peace and tranquility. The cabin was perfectly equipped and very comfortable. Easy to find and close to local amenities.

Lovely little property where you can relax at the evenings and early mornings. The dogs were spoiled with such a big location to take their morning and evening walks around to do their business. They loved all the different smells and different trees. We loved the fact we could hear the ducks in the morning and watching the beautiful sunset/sunrise. The couple who own it are very friendly and helped with some great ideas for visits out, the dogs loved the fuss. We have recommended it to family and friends and are looking to book again next year. A beautiful location for a lovely few days away.

The lodge was even more beautiful than the photos. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have stayed in. The host, Vanda, was extremely helpful in suggesting activities in the local area. To top it off the complimentary scones and cream wereabsolutely gorgeous! Access to the property was easy, a short 2 minute drive through easy navigable lanes. The electric fire in the sitting room was pretty and extremely warm, with ofcourse, the option to turn it down. The ducks in the lake were also a nice little touch.

The only thing I disliked about my stay was the fact that we couldn’t bring the mattress home with us!
