We didn't find the high table, with two bar stools ,easy to use, but we are in our late 70's and not as agile as some, possibly!

Everything!Cris and Paul are fantastic hosts,kind and thoughtful with great communication. Sky Cottage was perfect,beautifully done with great attention to detail.All was done to a high end but felt homely and cozy.Very comfy bed and spotlessly clean everywhere.Lovely,quiet village with a first rate pub in easy distance.Cant wait to visit Sky Cottage again,thankyou!

Nothing to dislike

Very sweet cottage in a peaceful location! It was such a relaxing place to spend a couple of days. Lots of thought has clearly gone into the place and making sure you feel welcome :)

Everything was just perfect at Sky Cottage. As expected it was a wet and windy weekend but the heating was on when we arrived and it was so cosy. The bed was really comfy as was the sofa in front of the log burner. We loved the way that little notes were left around the cottage showing where everything you could possibly need was placed. The information book also gave great instructions in a friendly and welcoming way. The position in the village was excellent and the parking just a few minutes walk away was so handy. We especially enjoyed reading the local news magazine, so much so that we began to imagine living here in such a community based village. We had booked for dinner, as advised by the wonderful hosts, on Friday night at The Fishermen’s arms, and were warmly greeted there. The food was so good that we booked for the Saturday before we had even finished our meal! And once again we were greeted like old friends. We left on Sunday morning with heavy hearts, but also totally rested and ready for the working week ahead. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.

The cottage is perfect for a couple and has everything you need for your stay. Very clean, comfortable and great communication from the,owners.
