Plumtree Cottage

The peace and quiet and comfort of the cottage and amazing views when relaxing in garden was just extremely relaxing and the welcome gifts left by our host Maggie were much appreciated and a really nice touch

There was honestly nothing we didn't like!! we were more than happy with everything and wouldn't hesitate to stay again

After booking we were sent a lot of very useful information about the area and facilities, restaurants, cafés, bars, takeaways and shops etc. We have stayed twice before, so we knew exactly what to expect.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location was peaceful and easy to access major routes for touring. Welcome pack was generous and very nice toiletries. King size bed very comfy. Interior design soft furnishings and art/ crockery tastefully curated. Great patio area at rear with seats and sun loungers and BBQ.. log burner with free firewood a plus for cosy winter stays.

Not liking is too strong a statement. Didn’t realise upstairs (spiral staircase)is mezzanine platform with low height area into bed otherwise pleasant space with Juliet balcony to sit and watch sunset/ sunrise.

Keys were on the door by arrival. Beautiful location wih beautiful views and pleasant garden. Maggie is a super friendly host

Garden could have been more enclosed - great that it is dog friendly but tricky to then keep an eye

A charming cottage, very welcoming hosts, good views, near to Kelso which is an interesting and friendly place.
