Casa Rubina

The apartment was just lovely. It’s nicely decorated, spacious, in a great location and you have a nice view from the patio! It’s quite but very close to everything you may want/need! Loredana (the owner) was very nice. Always checked in with us and was always there when we needed help or a recommendation.

The host was very thoughtful. There were morning pastries and coffee. Other thoughtful touches included shampoo and body lotion.

Very well thought out space and nice to be amongst the locals.

Excellent location very close to everything and the host is lovely.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Struggled to sleep. A lot of steps so travel light if booking this place as it is tricky with heavy suitcases.

Huge flat smack in the middle of Capri. Great little kitchen, two nice bedrooms and a massive balcony. Aircon was flawless too and it was very hot.

It was a long uphill walk - difficult with suitcases. The master bed mattress was very hard.

Great location with a bit of a view. Convenient to piazza, bus stop, funicular and taxis. Well set up apartment, clean with a nice little balcony. Safe and secure. Easy to get to from the Marina, even with luggage.

Second bed - mattress is terrible.

The location was central to the main square, good restaurants, walks around the island. The terrace was lovely to have breakfast and to relax after a long day of walking to see the sights. The villa is very comfortable and bright and beautifully decorated. The host met us on arrival, let us leave our luggage and gave us the keys to check in later. It was greatly appreciated. Loredana also recommended some great restaurants that served delicious food.

There are a few stairs and inclines to climb to reach the villa, but it was not a problem for us, though if you have some mobility issues, it could be a challenge. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The host and the property are excellent. The host was so helpful, nice and understanding. There were lots of lovely touches by the host, who it was clear that they were very thoughtful. The property is very clean, so comfortable, spacious, extremely well appointed and very well located. You’re in the centre of Capri, but yet tucked away in a peaceful corner with a big balcony, if you are thinking of staying in Capri and you want a 5 star base, this is it and there is no need to look any further. I would highly recommend this host and her beautiful apartment. 12/10 review!
