Finca La Hoya

A beautiful old house with a unique layout. Stunning panoramic views of the sea, mountains, and sunset. The house was clean and well equipped. The pool is shared with a small cottage, but we didn't disturb each other at all. The house has a beautiful garden around it, which is tended by a friendly gardener. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you and we recommend it.

Le calme et l'isolement, tout en étant à 10/15 minutes de la plage. On se sentait seuls au monde, sans en être coupé. Pouvoir ouvrir toutes les portes pour laisser passer le vent, sans avoir besoin de climatisation... C'était un séjour apaisant. Les pièces sont spacieuses, on respire. La vue ! On peut voir la mer et les terres. C'est le meilleur compromis. Avoir une piscine à domicile, c'est le luxe, surtout avec des enfants. Frank est toujours resté disponible quand nous avons eu besoin d'informations. Et alors Kiko ! C'est la cerise sur le gâteau !

Dommage de ne pas disposer d'un four à micro-ondes et d'un lave-vaisselle pour un logement prévu pour accueillir autant de vacanciers. C'est plus économique et écologique. Il manquait quelques ustensiles, telle qu'une passoire, par exemple et il nous a fallu relaver tout ce dont nous avions besoin car il y avait des résidus. L'eau de la piscine était particulièrement froide et on pouvait y trouver quotidiennement des lézards et autres. La plus grande déception était de partir...

The view from the elevated aspect, the good quality kitchen knife, granite worktop, the several external areas, shade was always available at one or more. The quirky building layout. The quiet area it is located in. The pool is solar heated and a constant depth, temperature up to 28 centigrade, just nice. The cute Gekko's.

Not particularly clean, we re-washed all the kitchen equipment, and the main shower. The pool surface cleaning could be done by us, but the pool bottom could not, despite the pipe and bottom suction attachment being available. There was a cockroach problem in the cupboard under the small kitchen sink, we didn't use this small kitchen, only the main one that was ok. We cleaned out around 20 dead ones in the two weeks we were there to keep the otherwise bad odour down.
