Blissful Escape Hengar Manor

I wanted to book a place in Cornwall for 2 nights where it is quiet and away from traffic and city. This was ideally located, very peaceful and scenic park. The park has rules and all guests are abiding by them which makes it very clean. All houses have designated parkings, extra cars can be parked in a large parking near reception (free). Though we did not have time to visit the community centre within the park, but it had some good activities including a pool which can be accessed for free after a booking slot. The house was very well equiped, clean and spacious. The owner is a fabulous chap. He made sure guests are comfortable. There were golf clubs, tennis rackets and balls, surfing board, swimming goggles etc all placed in the lounge for guests. Before my arrival there, he contacted me on whatsapp and sent me every tiny detail. I had issue switching on the shower, texted him and he got back immediately on how to switch on the booster switch and then use it. He also guided on which nearby attractions i should visit and kids would love it. Amazing chap.. !! My family enjoyed the trip. Highly recommended, will definitely go again.

A fantastic host and a nice property in a convenient location. 1. Property can accommodate 8 people. Good size for a holiday home. 2. good location from where one can access many of Cornwall's attractions within 30mins drive: Eden Project, Polzeath beach (30mins); Tintagel Castle (20mins), Camel trail for family cycling (10mins) 3. Excellent value for money especially for a party of 7-8 4. Lockbox near the door. instructions and a lot of local information made available by the host well in time. 5. All facilities in the holiday home are comfortable. 6. The holiday park is very pleasant as well. However we did not time to use the onsite facilities. 7. one of us accidentally scorched one of the bed linens. Host and the cleaner were kind and reasonable to charge a very minor amount to replace it.

This is only nitpicking to inform future visitors what to expect. Especially for those who are less travelled like us. 8. note for a party of 7-8, use the shower judiciously or plan some time to let the water heat again for the 5th person onwards. 9. This is only on reflection when answering the booking.com rating question - The cleaning bucket left in one of the bathrooms was a bit smelly. In hindsight, I probably should not write this here as I did not inform the host when we were there. I am sure they would have acted to resolve this.

Well, everything, instructions was clear, very nice and cosy. Everything that is needed was available.
