When we arrived at the property my wife was appalled at the location in an area with boarded up, dilapidated properties around and everything covered in graffiti. It was not inspiring. Fortunately the owner who met us there was very pleasant and helpful and the interior was far better than the exterior. Still, I think a better description of it would be shabby-chic, with the emphasis on the former, rather than deluxe, It was convenient to the free lift that took us down to the waterside and a pleasant walk to the port from where we took a ferry into Lisbon. There was a good cafe/bar in a square nearby that did excellent BBQ meats and fish. This one was further on than Cheers which was recommended in the Casa booklet.

The general location was run down. Deluxe should not greet you with chipped paint on the stair hand rails and a sticky patch, dead plants in the hanging baskets and damp patches behind a radiator. Nor should the kitchen tap be loosely held in place with sealant. The concertina, plastic shower doors also seemed incompatible with luxury. Of the 12 properties that we had booked for this month long tour of Portugal this was the only one to disappoint

We liked everything- apartment itself- cute, cozy, clean, spacious, it’s location-nice to go to the center of Lisbon on a short ferry drive , walking to the ferry about 15 min, Neighborhood itself - charming, local , old part of a town, where you feel real life, not touristy, walking along a river with the best sunset , stores and restaurants right around the corner, etc..!!and of course hosts- super nice and helpful with any questions we asked- thank you , Simon!! We really feel we were home!

Absolutely nothing

Hier stimmt einfach alles! Es hat an absolut gar nichts gefehlt und ich habe mich sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem wunderschönen liebevoll gestalteten Appartement. Ich habe es als sehr angenehm empfunden, nach dem Trubel in der Stadt hier eine Ruheoase zu finden. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und immer sofort verfügbar, wenn man ihn mal brauchte. Hierher kommen ich sehe gerne wieder zurück? Gastgeber als auch Unterkunft bekommen von mir 12 von 10 Punkten. Danke, dass ich hier sein durfte

Cet appartement a une histoire qui a éveillé notre curiosité. Très bien décoré dans le thème choisit par les hôtes. Accueil très chaleureux ! L'emplacement (Almada) est idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent aborder Lisbonne par l'eau grâce au Ferry. Tout proche de cet appartement, il y a le jardin de Cerca qui permet d'avoir un beau panorama de la ville depuis Almada. Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de cet appartement.

Le grand lit est de qualité mais un peu trop mou à notre goût.

Nice and comfordable accomodation. Some nice restaurant near by. Easy to acces Lisbon.

The front door of the house barely opens and is quite narrow, which makes it very difficult to bring in suitcases. The stairs leading up to the entrance are really narrow as well. This wasn’t a big problem for us, but I would definitely not recommend it for elderly people. The chairs and table on the terrace are not usable because they are rusty and worn out – they belong in the trash, not for guests. The rust needs to be removed, and the sharp edges need to be addressed to ensure safe use. Also, the terrace is not covered, which means you cannot use it during the day because of the sun. On the first day when we arrived, a moth flew straight into my throat, as the house is full of moths. The issue is likely caused by drain flies (also known as moth flies) breeding in the sewer and potentially other drains, leading to the strong, unpleasant odor and the presence of the flies. Ironically in the kitchen shared with the bathroom. In the bathroom, there isn’t a single cabinet to store personal items, so you have to leave them in the kitchen. The tap in the kitchen is not fixed properly. The windows have wooden shutters on the inside, so if you want to block out the light, there’s no air, and if you open the windows and shutters, you cannot sleep at night because of the outside noise. On top of everything, we stayed in the house in July when it was very hot, and the bed linen was 100% polyester. The floors creak, and the bathroom is quite far from the bedroom. Folding door are stucķ and you can use literary 40 cm to get in. All in all, it’s an old house that still needs a lot of investment before it can be rented out at the price it’s currently being offered for. Do not take children to the object.

Апартаменты соответствуют описанию, но фото скорее всего были сделаны сразу после ремонта. Сейчас все немного устарело. Пол конечно аутентичный, но в нем много с трещин и сколов, из-за чего жена пробила палец на ноге.

L'apartament es tranquil i acollidor, sobretot la terrasseta. Està molt ben decorat i net. La situació està molt bé, tens supermercats, farmàcies i botigues a prop. Vam estar molt còmodes, com a casa. L'amfitrió molt amable i atent.

Res de negatiu, tot perfecte.
