Lovely Caravan which felt very homely and was very cosy. Loved the balcony and the views a must stay. Cant wait to come back in the summer 😍

It was our 1st holiday with our little one and it was perfect. It was lovely and clean and very cosy everything we needed to make it a lovely little stay.

Lovely comfortable lodge in great location at back of park by river overlooking fields... so nice views. Had it's own wifi which was a big bonus as holiday homes hired direct from parks don't tend to. Parking available right by lodge. Ross from Camber Breaks, who own the lodge, was really informative and sent plenty of information about the lodge, surrounding area, facilities and activities available onsite etc. We were equipped with everything we needed to know prior to our stay 😊👍 Also had Netflix and Prime etc as smart tvs in lounge as well as both bedrooms. Lovely and warm as had central heating which could be controlled by a thermostat on wall. Great shower with really good pressure. Also had a 2nd wc off master bedroom. Equipped with everything you might need. A little cleaning pack was provided too, which was useful, with mini washing up liquid, sponge and dishcloth. Lodge also has a dishwasher. We visited Rye which was only about 10 mins away. Also visited Battle and Tenterden. Easy to get to Hastings too but we've been many times so didn't on this occasion. Also lots of facilities onsite as a Parkdean Resorts park. There's a Nisa shop, restaurant, chip shop, entertainment, swimming pool, various activities etc, although we didn't use them as just fancied a quiet relaxing break. Also a Premier shop and 2nd bigger Nisa shop up road by Pontin's. We had a great stay at River Lodge and would definitely recommend 😊

Location at the edge of the holiday park was good because of the uninterrupted views of the countryside beyond. Very spacious lounge and well-equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with the host. Great access to the beach, only about 5 mins walk (through the holiday park) away. Easy access to very different worlds: from the classic charm of Rye to the unique and rather surreal landscape of Dungeness, both within 20 mins drive.

The Boathouse restaurant / bar was a bit too noisy for our taste, and the food / service was variable. But these were hardly big problems.
