Refurbished Seaside Retreat in the Heart of Cromer

The cottage is renovated to suit its quirky nature. Lovely finishing touches, kitchen had everything you needed and the shower was good. Amazing location with shops, cafes, restaurants 30 secs away. The beach is a very short stroll. Recommend a walk along the beach to overstrand (low tide only) and then can loop back along the foot path on the cliffs. Red lion for drinks with a view out to sea. Whitewater for an excellent breakfast and north sea coffee.

Being very picky as everything was amazing but could do with a new mattress on the bed. It's incredibly soft and not good for bad backs but this is probably personal.

We liked everything, lovely little unusual cottage tucked away in the heart of Cromer.

Nothing, it was all good. Mike the owner was very quick to respond to any messages.

Excellent location in the centre of town. Warm & comfortable accommodation. Speedy & friendly communication from the owner when we had a question. V near the beach, cinema, pier theatre & bus & train stations. We went without a car and there was no problem getting around. Great shower water pressure & hot water. Near lots of fab cafes (Fig & Olive opposite was fantastic) Excellent view of church from top bedroom. Beware, lots of steep stairs if you're not very fit!

Centre of Cromer, easy walk to the beach and pubs.

We did not spend a lot of time in the cottage, it was just somewhere to sleep and have a shower.

Lovely property - cleverly set out. Loved the copper and blue combination. Owner was really welcoming and communication was excellent. Excellent base for a few days in Cromer - very central.

Fridge/freezer wasn't very clean but not bad enough to complain about. Steps leading into property were difficult to navigate. Property not suitable for anyone that has difficulty going up and down stairs. Musty smell in basement lounge and kitchen - windows needed to be kept shut because of pigeons which may contribute to this issue. Pigeons very noisy at night - kept me awake. This isn't the property owner's fault and nothing that could not be remedied. There was also a very noise pub nearby - with loud music. Again not something the property owner could do anything about - just sharing for awareness,

The property was in a very central location,

The alleyway leading to the property was very dark and dingy and covered in pigeon poo. Hand rail and steps leading into the property was also covered in pigeon poo and that made the steps very slippery and dangerous. The bathroom the shower door was falling off and water was cold also had a terrible smell in the bathroom, the basement (living room) was freezing and had a damp smell! The main bedroom bed was very squeaky and noisy (not due to action) pigeons was just a problem through out our stay.
