The weather on Saturday

Everything was absolutely first class.

The location and the farm yard . Dog walking easy. View great.

A beautiful place with stunning views, surrounded by farm animals including a beautiful horse and her foal, tiny lambs and hairy coo’s . It was like an illustration from a Ladybird book. A very well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting area.The bathroom was stunning, the bedroom very large and airy. The enormous bed was very comfortable and the blackout blinds meant a fabulous sleep.It was really top tier accommodation. Lovely and much appreciated goodies; bread, eggs, butter, milk and cake. The steak pie and vegetables were delicious too. We went to a wedding on the first day and getting ready was made so much easier by the size and airiness of the cottage, no getting flustered. The second day we chilled out and it was perfect for this too. I would stay here again without hesitation. In fact, I didn’t want to leave. I also enjoyed the challenge of the steep road whilst Highland cattle watched on.

We struggled for a long time to work the oven and reading the manual after a long drive wasn’t ideal ( I googled it in the end). I would suggest a set of user friendly instructions for the oven …you have to set a time on the clock before you can start! Simple if you know. Also, despite having such a generous welcome pack there was no cooking oil which I have come to expect with self catered accommodation. Very small niggles that are insignificant in the weight of the positives.

Lovely location. Great cottage, well equipped and very clean. Food excellent.Everything we needed for a short break.

It was a lovely cosy place to stay. The farm and the views were fantastic.

Great facilities in the accommodation and lovely location.

The hill into the property was a little tricky for the car but not much can be done about that.
