The accommodation was good, fully equipped for purpose and grounds very well maintained.Fishing on site was excellent.

The only slight issue we had was our bedding felt a little damp

Three of us stayed in Fisherman’s den during our stay. The property was lovely and clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was easy to find and the scenery and grounds were just stunning. Everything was well maintained and we enjoyed the peace w Shad when staying there. We enjoyed walking round the grounds. Bradley, the host/owner, was really polite and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful location, lakes and gardens were superb. House was very good, however (see below )

Property was very good , however the sofa and chair are long overdue for replacement due to excessive wear. The patio set was also in a poor state. The house was well equipped and comfortable, we will return as the location is ideal for visiting relatives in the area.

The site is absolutely stunning. We saw 3 kingfishers, ducks, multiple butterflies, moorhens, it is teeming with wildlife and is so very peaceful. The site is well managed with clearly defined driveways, caravan parking and seating areas. The conservatory on Heron's Nest was everything for chilling out in the evening and having a morning coffee. Parking is well suited for the accommodation. Signage makes sense and WiFi was good. The people fishing were pleased with many catches in their day. We saw a lot of big fish being caught very rapidly. Communication from the owner was excellent from start to finish.

We had both the houses either side of the main house. Fisherman's Den was not as high spec as Heron's Nest on the right as you look at the house. The single chair and footstool need throwing away as mentioned by several other reviewers. The sofa bed has not been moved for several months so when our daughter opened it to make her bed, it was very off-putting and unclean, so she refused to sleep on it, which meant 2 others had to share a bed. The shower isn't very good, again mentioned by other reviewers previously. It would be easy to resolve the items that bring the property down so it feels a bit disappointing that the owners haven't listened to the reviews and replaced these things.

The scenery is outstanding. The house was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept.
