City Base Apartment - Fast WiFi - Free Parking

We had a great stay in Dundee at Baxter Park - City Base. The ground floor apartment was clean and comfortable, in a quiet neighbourhood. Walked once into the city centre but was a little far to do regularly. There were a number of local shops close by to get milk, bread etc. Baxter Park was lovely to walk around. We found parking in the street ok but there was a free carpark in Craigie St too. Lots of things to do in Dundee including the Discovery Centre, V&A museum, Verdant works and Dundee Law, as well as trips to St Andrews and Broughty Ferry. We had a very enjoyable week.

A rubbish strike meant the bins in the street were overflowing but hopefully will.be resolved soon by Dundee city council. In the apartment, some bowls to use for salad or cooking would have been useful. The kitchen was otherwise well equipped.

Large comfortable very well equipped apartment. It was more like a house than an apartment. There was a back lawn area too. Kitchen had so many things that we did not except e-g spices, eggs, oil , tea bags etc. Extra supply of glasses, cutlery, crockery, towels and bed sheets were present in the house. We felt very comfortable in that place.

When we entered the apartment we felt some smell. Later discovered that there was a dirty drain pipe with external wall of the kitchen and was open at ground level. That drain pipe needed repair as it was common for entire building. We kept bedroom side windows open to keep the apartment ventilated. Bathroom was too tight and there was no exhaust fan in that. Entrance corridor of apartment was too old and needs an upgrade.
