"Great place to stay for a large family or a group of friends in a very convenient location"

Location was very good, right next to a shopping mall and it was very easy to get to the main beachfront.

There wasn't much cutlery (we had to buy a knife because there was only a single serrated one). The bedrooms could have done with proper air-conditioning units. They only had fans which were noisy.

The cat who came to visit. Aircon. Complimentary biscuits, kitkat chocs, milk, tea & coffee supplied.

Photos on booking.com are misleading. The apartment had dirty walls, front of oven dirty. The pillows on the beds lumpy. One room had holes in the wall with pipes sticking out? The linen old with buttons missing on the duvet cover. Sheets are piling. The fridge not clean, same with the one shower. The couch was filthy with stains. The outside area is not nice to sit outside with the neighbours right on top of you blasting music. We were very disappointed 😞

The rooms were very pleasant and it was like home away from home

The coaches were very small and the room was for 10 people but the sitting arrangement was not good to accommodate most of us

We had a wonderful stay at Westwood Skye Durban! Our group consisted of 16 family members, and we had the perfect setup with two separate holiday homes — one for the adults and the other for the youngsters. This arrangement worked out beautifully, giving everyone their own space while still allowing us to spend quality time together. Both homes were clean, spacious, and very well-maintained. The decor was tasteful, and all the necessary amenities were provided, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The kids especially loved having their own space, and the adults appreciated the peace and relaxation on their side! The host was friendly, professional, and always available to assist with anything we needed. The location is safe, convenient, and close to everything Durban has to offer. It was truly a memorable family getaway, and we highly recommend Westwood Skye to any large family or group looking for a comfortable and well-organized place to stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!
