Danville Forest Guest House & Apartments

Ashton and Bo were wonderful hosts; very welcoming, responsive and helpful. The microwave wasn’t working and they instantly fixed it. One of the kitchen drawers was broken, and they also instantly came to fix this.

We looked at the pictures of this place, which we liked, and then apparently booked a different unit that was smaller. This was very confusing and unclear, which we realised was due to the way Booking.com is set up. So be careful when booking; there are two different units available.

Clean and simple friendly hosts

The big room and small rooms are advertised as one thing whilst are two different rooms and the deposit is not mentioned before you book you only see it after you have booked already. My kids wanted to play snooker but they told us that it is reserved for the main house guest which doesn't say on the advertisement.

The apartment was clean and the hosts were awesome 👌

The place was very good, and it met our expectations. The house was very neat The bedrooms were neat also wth clean linen.

The equipment needs a lot of attention

We loved every thing about this place, the hosts are really sweet and are always onsite. We we’re comfortable and at no point did they (the hosts) bother us about anything

I liked the location, swimming pool and all the facilities the place has.

The toilet in another room was broken and had flushing issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house and cottage. The location was fantastic, with easy access to shops and the beach. The addition of a pool table provided hours of entertainment, and the spacious and comfortable accommodations made our stay even more enjoyable. The renovated bathrooms were a nice touch, and Ash was a fantastic host, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay.

The pool hours felt a bit limited; extending them would be appreciated. Additionally, there were some missing pots and kitchen crockery which was inconvenient. The furniture and bedding, particularly by the pool, could have been cleaner. It would also be beneficial to remove or replace any broken furniture.
