Friendly and communicative host, really helpful when we had a question. The location is great too, lovely park nearby and some local bars & restaurants too. The city centre is at a walkable distance but there's also a bus stop around the corner.

Good parking and spacious property. Two bathrooms a bonus for family sharing. Easy walking distance to amenities.

Very minor issues but nothing that affected our stay and would definitely still recommend.

Location for the city centre was good, Bus 'R' has a stop in the next road and drops right in the High Street. For a house in a terrace with a terrace behind, it was surprisingly quiet.

Many things in the kitchen felt a little 'sticky' and generally everything felt like it could do with a deep clean. Really disappointed that big issues mentioned in previous reviews (constantly flowing toilet (thankfully on the ground floor but still awful from an environmental perspective) and the door of the same bathroom not able to shut) hadn't been resolved. The upstairs bathroom has two slats missing from the blind, the glass is clear rather than frosted and it's directly opposite the windows of the rear terrace homes - rather disconcerting! Only 2 mirrors between 3 bedrooms. Overall, the landlord needs to give this property some attention as the issues seem to be long standing. I'd also recommend an info pack, there isn't anything giving the usual info like what to do with recycling, where the bus stop is etc.

The no contact check-in via key box. Complementary shower gel. Big bedrooms. Free parking outside the house.

It had everything we needed, nothing fancy but good base for our trip in Exeter. Parking is fine if you are out most of the day like us.

A little run down and the toilet was continuously running (seems that’s been a issue for a few weeks based on other reviews). We also had clothes from a previous guest remain in the wardrobe. Bit of a walk to town so it would be best to have a car.

The location is convenient and it’s a good size for a family to stay. Parking is only free at weekends.

Whilst everything generally works, there are a lot of things that need attention. For example the loo was continuously running with water and the shower screens weren’t on their runners so felt as if they may fall off.

Basic but comfortable and satisfactory for a short stay

Lack of basic furniture in bedrooms and bathrooms to put things on. No stool for dresser in main bedroom. Lack of towels. No lock on downstairs bathroom which had a faulty toilet. Slippery shower and bath with no anti slip mats.
