This is a truly unique accommodation with a very friendly host. The accommodation has a lot of attention to detail, I found new things every day of my stay. Also a lot of extras that you would not expect like fresh eggs every morning and a table football game.

The host does not speak English very well. So basic knowledge of Spanish is required to communicate. The hot water supply is a bit arduous.

"An experience to remember - great and comfortable stay in a spacious Guanchi cave with all facilities and great host!"

The cave is good located with dedicated parking place and in 4 mins drive to a closest market. There is a courtyard view on stars, sunrise, ocean and wind turbines. The facilities for a cave(!) are outstanding - warm shower, kitchen, barbecue, fridge, stovetop, utensils. The details illustrate thoughtfulness and care in creating/designing this living space - lights in the right places, niches for specific needs, dedicated zones, available entertainment for guests (additionally to the feeling of living in a museum) The host is amazing - Nandy met us, introduced to the cave and its idea/history, explained how things work and provided us an amazing surprise farewell :)

Hot water has finished in the morning and there is a hanging plant at the entrance which can cause issues for tall people - be careful with that

Casas are easy to reach by car. We arrived late, but were met by the friendly owner with chocolate and fresh goat cheese - plus five curious hens, who agreed to donate eggs for each breakfast. Functional kitchen, extra blankets and a radiator for a chilly night, plus the whole splendour of an outdoor grill and pizza oven. One day, I hope, there will be a grand view to the Atlantic (if the caravan park will be shifted a bit).

"lovely tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle."

nandy was the perfect host, the cave was a blessing after a few nights in town. lovely and peaceful

no tea or coffee supplied, would of the perfect touch. wouldn’t want to buy a box for 2 days, as waste. along with cooking oil etc. little touches.

Really spacious with everything you might need during the stay. We were stuck in the middle of a storm and more than happy to spend more time inside this wonderful cave.
