Casa do Vale Encantado

Meravellós. La Dora ha estat molt atenta i l'allotjament és molt ampli i comode per passar uns dies i visitar la zona.

Petite maison très bien agencé possédant deux chambres. Un des gros plus est l'espace extérieur permettant de déjeuner mais également d'étendre le linge.

Maison relativement humide, mais le climat des Açores l'est tout autant.

Le logement est spacieux et des petites attentions très appréciées nous attendaient. La propriétaire nous a appelé le premier soir pour savoir si tout allait bien. Le logement se situe proche de Terra NOSTRA.

Il y avait une forte odeur d'humidité dans le logement. Le logement est très sombre. Le voisin est entrain de construire une maison neuve et il faisait des travaux au marteau piqueur. Le mobilier d'extérieur est vétuste

Everything! The equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds, the gifts on the table, the towels and the big tv with the possibility to see movies, the garden with the wooden table and also the kindness of the landlady. Thank you

I saw a cockroach in the kitchen, but they are very common on the island.

Host left some fruit and milk which was nice. Also had coffee and cooking basics. My daughter loved the loft area - very private and cozy.

We travel internationally a lot and rarely have trouble finding places. I don't know if it's Booking.com, Google maps or the map link between them, but we were directed to an entirely wrong property from Booking.com. Then when cutting and pasting the address from Booking.com into Google maps, the pictures are of a third house. I called the host and she tried to help but we couldn't get coordinated. I finally found the property by searching another website the host advertised on and using that link for directions. This is the second mishap like this I've had with Booking.com so I'm chalking it up to their site. When we finally arrived, the house was great! Also, the dryer was on the fritz and took a LONG time to dry a wet towel. Last, I was asked to pay 8 euro tourist tax by host. I would prefer Booking.com collect that so we weren't caught off guard to pay this in addition to the stay. The price should be the price.

Perfect house for a family with 2 kids. A lot of space in and outside. All facilities available for a perfect stay to explore the island. Very friendly and helpful host. A nice gift is present on the table when arriving.

The house is very clean, well equipped kitchen, nice patio, towels for the hot baths were provided. Parking possible in the street or a little bit further away - across the cemetery there are many parking spaces (cca 200m away). Nice patio outside.

The whole house is extremely damp. The problem with humidity is everywhere on the island, but it would really help if the house was regularly aired out and the windows opened to let the clean air in. We moved our bedroom upstairs because the air was better there but the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Good location in the center of Furnas

Spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Free parking nearby, though not on the lodge street itself. Awaiting us were local food snacks. Also available, dark towels for hot springs.

In the reservation it is indicated that the checkout must be done until 12h. A little before 11am we already had someone we had never contacted before, apparently with two other guests, at the door asking when were we leaving. It was raining and we had to rush everything to the car with two toddlers. The three people were right outside the door the whole time, we have never felt so pressured to checkout within the time limit before. It was not a pleasant situation. We are really sorry, because all contacts with the host, Mrs. Dora, never indicated that such thing could ever happen. In the end we left with a sour feeling.
