comfortable, nice view of the town, clean, great shower, adequately equipped kitchen

This house is extremely close to the main road into Furnas so there was a great deal of traffic noise. The very small parking spot was almost in the road and very difficult to turn into. It's on a blind corner so difficult to exit. The curb added to the stress of pulling into the space quickly and caused us concern about damaging the small rental car. Owner should inform guests about this very challenging parking spot. The fill was not compacted and car sank down into it. We used a pot from the kitchen to regrade the sunken places and add a "ramp" from the curb to the road.

Comfortable bed and nice updated kitchen.

New couch needed, seat broken and uncomfortable. Larger TV would add to living room. Better quality soap — dish, laundry and bath. Clearer directions to locate place needed. Clean up veranda area needed.

Wonderful location, the whole valley is right at your feet, fantastic sunrise views to have. It's on the main road/serpentine, expect some traffic but it's quiet by the evening. Lovely, spacious house, kitchen is well equipped, very good internet coverage to watch You tube and all sorts on the tv without any hiccups. Good communication from the host. Poca da Donja Beija is a 5 min walk, it can't be emphasized enough how relaxing it is to not have to struggle with parking there and you can book the late evening and very early morning slots in the bath for the best experience. I couldn't get enough of the place, Terra Nostra is not open that late. Take a small torch or use the torch on your phone, the alleyway leading back to the house is steep and can be a bit intimidating in the dark. I don't need to introduce Furnas, it's all in the guidebooks. I came across a lovely patisserie somewhere I didn't expect, it's the Queijaria Furnense, check it out. Walking distance to the Lake and calderas, although you are walking on the main road. I recommend this place, i would definitely book again.

Lots of outside space, bedrooms and bathroom spacious and comfortable. Great air conditioning once we worked out how to operate it. Appreciated mid stay change of linen and towels

Kitchen/living area was small for 4 with limited cooking equipment. Outside space a little untidy but it is amongst trees so difficult to maintain. Huge house centipedes at night but again probably to be expected due to location!

Perfect location to visit Furnas. Great view on the town of Furnas.

The exterior (veranda) could have been tidier in order to enjoy sitting outside to the full extent.

The house has an amazing view and a ton of outdoor space. If the weather is nice you can relax or do yoga on the roof to your hearts content. The kitchen is well stocked with all necessary cooking items and gadgets. Beds are comfortable and heavy shutters will keep the room dark for sleeping if needed.

The parking situation is not great, borderline dangerous especially at night. Because of the main road, with zero space on the side, you can't really walk anywhere. There is a large video camera mounted over the front door which appears to be connected to the internet. I'm not sure if it is motion activated or if someone was watching us but it moves around and followed us as we relaxed on the front porch.

The view was great. The house was comfortable and clean.

Parking area was not handy as it's a bit far and on a high speed road with no sidewalks.

The only slight problem is the parking lot on the roadside which was a bit tricky to drive onto and off with the traffic passing at speed. Don’t come with a large car 😊.
