Recently Renovated House in Heart of Galway City

The only thing we liked about this property was the proximity to the city centre.

The description was recently renovated house. It certainly was not. We were unable to get access until 3.00pm to facilitate cleaning. The house was not clean. One of our party dropped his phone down the side of the bed and discovered cobwebs and a condom wrapper when he attempted to retrieve it. The only shower in the property couldn't be used because we couldn't regulate the temperature - It was either roasting or freezing. We were asked not to wear outside shoes upstairs. You wouldn't have walked on the carpet in your bare feet. The tiles on the bathroom floor were broken. The doors needed a good cleaning or coat of paint. Massively disappointed. Would NEVER stay here again, and it wasn't cheap. We stayed at the end of August 2024.

The location for the property was good - very central. Parking was tricky. The house is large, not that many properties available that have 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything that you would need.

Overall the property is very very dated. The "recently renovated" description is not accurate. The whole place needs to be painted - there are scuff marks on pretty much every wall. There was litter scattered everywhere outside - toilet paper in the garden, rubber gloves on the exterior steps. Empty bottles in the driveway. Birthday party decorations from the previous guests still on the wall. No bathroom on the ground floor renders it unsuitable for elderly guests.

Really comfy and so much room. Kitchen is beautiful. Great location

Location is great (close to station and eyre square) rooms are cosy and comfortable, host is accommodating and easily reachable.

The house is lovely and big and can accommodate many guests - but only one bathroom makes it a bit difficult as everyone has to take turns to use it so it may prolong the time for everyone to get ready and out of the house

This accommodation wasn't great. It would suspect it was student accommodation at best. Not the property we expected. Four bedrooms and 1 bathroom, not suitable for a big family. It was OK for 1 night, but definately no more. The location was perfect though, right beside Eyre square.
