Cueva Solano

Spacious cavehouse with a nice view on the village. Everything you need is there. If you climb a stair just around the corner you have a stunning view on the other side. Loved the colours of the rocks at sunrise and sunset. Mary is a lovely host.

Just two minor things. Wifi is good but doesn't reach the bedroom very well. The handheld shower isn't very practical.

We loved the comfort and cozyness of the cueva and the pleasant temperature inside, although outside it was freezing during the night. The place was really clean, the wi-fi really strong and the owner really kind and helpful. Yes, the village is rather isolated, but the landscape is amazing and one can have an authentic Andalusian countryside experience while visiting Gorafe, let alone enjoying the absolute silence if accommodated in this cueva.

The host is charming. The house is spotless and friendly. It is large, too, and can easily accommodate a family or a group of friends. As always in a cave house, quietness is absolute, and the atmosphere most relaxing. A very, very nice place for a very reasonable price.

Replacing the few very harsh LED lights, which unfortunately cohabit with more classical lamps, with softer options would be a definite plus. More information about the area, such as maps, would have been useful. Also, I would have appreciated finding some basic foods in the kitchen ...
