Beautiful cave house with stunning views over the unique town. Very clean and cosy. Host had great communication

Wifi doesn't really work inside (due to the thickness of the walls maybe?) Wasn't an issue for us but might be important for some people.

I really loved visiting Guadix and this unique experience of staying in one of the cave houses. Parking was easy.

I was certain I booked the unit with a jacuzzi. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal to me, but I'm from the US and the day I booked this place was our Thanksgiving, and when I can't spend this holiday with my family, my tradition is to go to a spa. I was going from Granada to Cordoba and why I booked in Guadix is because I could afford a place with its own hot tub. It was meaningful to me, at the end of my trip and to relax and take a break from my stressful job. When you're solo traveling it's the little pleasures that bring you happiness, and I was looking forward to that jacuzzi all week. I spent less on other nights' accommodations so that I could budget for this one, the ONLY night I rented a place to myself on this trip to Europe. The wifi only works outside and on this cold November night, going to the windy terrace was not really an option to relax. The cave itself is freezing with one tiny heater on the opposite side of the place from the living area and bathroom. Maybe it would feel warmer if it had even just a lamp instead of this painful florescent overhead. Instead of a night of soothing self-care I just feel really alone, cold, sad, and disappointed.
