Spedion Villa - Near to sea villas with heated swimming pool

see above. the lady who prepared us breakfast at the poolside bar was helpful, resourceful, and very nice.

the unit was very small and cramped (I've guessed so by the measurements declared). we got to the Apt sometime around 8PM, and we managed fine yet the WiFi was faint, we called the number we had, yet no one answered. a minute or two later we received a returned call from an L.A. number, with a very nice and understanding man on the other side who told me that our unit gets its WiFi from the pool's router and due to the wall it's very weak and he should install a range extender...do me a favour! we go out for dinner and return at around 11PM, dead tired, my son's bed had a bed sheet and a blanket sheet yet no blanket, same with our bed, my daughter's bed in the attic, didn't even have a sheet. I called the number, same procedure, the L.A. guy tells me very politely and understandingly that there should be blankets in a box in an overhead shelf (it's a good thing I'm 6'1") the box contained a single heavy duvet, and some other small unidentifiable piece of cloth, both were very dusty. there were two extra lite small fleece blankets. the polite L.A. guy said that for now we'll have to manage with we had... thanks a lot! we all hardly slept or last night in Greece when the next morning I had to drive about 4Hrs back to Athens.

Lovely villa complex 6km outside Gythio. We found it hard to find initially with address in Greek, eventually put name Spedion Villa into google maps and found it. Small yellow sign on main road then down thru olive grove. There is a beach near but we didn’t use it and the pool looked nice but a bit cool. Villa was very nice had everything you needed was nice and quiet. Breakfast by the pool was very good with lots of choices. Not much out there so drove back into Gythio for dinner.

We had the loft bed and it was a squeaky bed, wish they provided a better quality bed -- just throwing a towel on the bed made a noise... Wish we had known the pool hours were from 11 am til 8 pm.. we just missed going to the pool, but that was caused by our late arrival

Easy to find location, clean overall, the breakfast was quiet good (could have been a bit better) and the staff were really helpful and eager to assist with any of our needs. The facility was very clean and it had a lot of space for parking and gatherings.The pool was clean as well.

Some of the beds, not all, were not very comfortable, the pillows were very thin and really sturdy and the mattresses were very hard. We had a wifi issue, we could connect but the speed was really slow, though that might be a provider issue and not the property’s. We would have liked the sheets and towels changed daily. All of the above is meant as a constructive criticism and not as a bad review.

The staff were really nice and welcoming. The pool was great and the location was just what we wanted.

Really exellent place to stay. It shows owners are doing this with hard passion. They were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with home prepered local foods that owner made herself. Every day something different but clasic also. Pool area is great, clean, big and safe for small children. There also is a playground for children and outside gym. Location is only 2min from the beach. Beautiful surroundings and very nice yard with green grass. Rooms were all you need with nice kitchen and two bathrooms. Whole house has 3 ACs so no matter how hot it is outside you can always stay fresh and have a perfect sleep. We recomend it strongly and honestly. More days you spend there the more you want. We were there for 4 days and we wish we could stay longer.
