La ubicación de la casa.

El trato del anfitrión fue pésimo; le molesta que le preguntes y le pidas cosas y no tiene ninguna voluntad en ayudarte. No informa de cortes programados de agua, tienes que llamar tu mismo a Canal Gestión para informarte, quedándonos sin agua 24h. Tiene gallinas que si no le preguntas no te dice ni que están allí, luego te pide que las alimentes. Y encima me insulta llamándome pesada y egoísta porque se rompió una lámpara de un golpe de aire y no le llamé en el momento para informarle. Increíble todo lo sucedido con él, nunca me había pasado algo así.

This was our second stay in La Cuesta. We were happy to be back and to see the chickens again. We had a lovely two week stay and explored most of the island. Again we felt very much at home in and around the house. This year we met Juan, who is a very amicable guy. We'll be back next year!

The garden and looking after chickens. Fresh eggs every day. Secure parking within gates of house. Nice to sit outside and look onto private garden. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely house.

It was slightly cold in the house in the evening but there is an electric fire and blankets. Blankets were sufficient in February.

We absolutely loved the house. It was comfortable and felt very much like home. The location is great: it's in a quiet village, but very close to the airport and shops in Arrecife. We'll definitely come back and miss the chickens already!

The area was very clean and very peaceful (apart from a couple of barking dogs, noisy sparrows and chickens :-). It was great to have fresh eggs every day, but we couldn't keep up with them even if we had 3 eggs a day, they still managed 4 or more!!! But it is expected to feed and water them. Very safe area and parking off-road a bonus. It was a typical traditional dwelling with a lot of character, which we like. Some lovely paintings and surprising sculptures. I liked the bed, but my wife likes a softer one, but nothing to moan about. Decent WiFi although slower than at home. Walking distance from a local supermarket but larger ones are just a 5 minute drive. Good to have separate room for drinking, another for eating meals and another relaxing, as well as the 3 bedrooms. Another big table outdoors for eating al fresco.

Not much as we love these places that have character. The kitchen was fine but not laid out for the best. Having to walk round the island bench every time to cook, wash, go to the fridge, and microwave added quite a few steps to our total for the day ;-). Certainly nothing to put us off coming back again.

It is a real Canarian house, al you need is there. You even have your own chickens, so you have fresh eggs every day. It is in a little place, the small supermarkt is around the corner. And Juan is a nice guy.

Lovely old house, very roomy, well furnished with all the facilities you could hope for, set in large grounds with a private drive. The owner was always there for any help needed.

Nothing. It was exceptional

There is a spacious, stylish village house with a very nice terrace and a garden covered with pyroclasts (know here as roffe). An amazing fact was a presence of hens and a rooster with adorable a few-day-old chicks. The owner was very helpful, I forgot my item while leaving and on my request he sent it back to my address. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Hot water ran out rather quickly in the shower due to quite a small water boiler.
