The hosts met us and we opted to move from a room to an available suite which was perfect for our 3-day stay. It was available and effortless to make the switch. They offered us use of the core area as well, and we put our ice chest packs in the general freezer. They could not have been more accommodating!

We loved our stay there and our time at Haines. The view from our window of the Lynn Canal and snowy mountains behind was glorious. We missed seeing it but a whale was out there the day we left; we enjoyed the peace and beauty of the area, and it was one of our favorite places on our 5 1/2 week Washington to Alaska and back again driving trip.

We loved the on property host Katie. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and colorful personality made us feel like family. She baked us evening treats and enjoyed or new Malamute puppy. The view and beach access are wonderful.
