Hakuba Happo Log Chalets

Location was great. Within walking distance to Happo One, Lawson, A Coop, & train station.

It could be very uncomfortable if you come during the winter time as the toilet & shower rooms, though conveniently separated, are located outside of the main living area and are non heated. I also felt that the cabin caretaker operated with an attitude. We're a family of 4 and stayed for 4 nights. When I asked for a new kitchen tissue paper roll (kitchen towels or facial tissues were not provided.), I was told to 'go buy it myself' if I wanted to use more than provided! It was to be used to help keep the kitchen & utensils clean! Our family has traveled extensively and never before have we encountered a stranger hospitality. Once is enough.

These Chalets are in a great location for getting around Hakuba Valley. The bus stop is 10-15 min walk up the road, the train Station is 10 mins in the other. Chalet was clean, comfortable and warm. Will book again.

Centrally located quiet and spacious dwelling perfect for our family's ski trip to Hakuba. Upstairs separate bedrooms for us and our two children which were very comfortable after a big day of skiing, We could walk to Happo one ski resort or catch a taxi from the bus stop if our little one wasn't up for the walk. Supermarket was a short walk away as were several good options for dinner nearby.

The chalet was great for what we needed. The location was central between the mountain town and the bus station, we were able to walk most places we wanted to go. The host was helpful in ordering taxi’s and kept us up to stock on clean towels/supplies.

Great base to enjoy Hakuba. Walking distance to Happo One base and the Train station area. Quiet location. Bus stop across the road.

Bathroom and Toilet area cool- did not bother us.
