Quinta da Vinha do Souto

Quality of the house where we stayed, well decorated, very friendly staff. The differentiator is the outside space (“the farm”).

Minor details, insignificant.

The location was perfect for us..!!! We were able to explore the local area and reach cities and towns nearby :) Everyone was super friendly and made us feel very welcome :) including our small Maltese - Alfie - Thank you :) We had regular contact with the owners of the Quinta, they made it all very easy regarding check-in/check-out. They were there if we needed them but also gave us our privacy..Perfect Hosts & super friendly people :) You have to try the local restaurants and bars in Arouca, food is amazing and staff very welcoming ..!!!..everywhere...:)

Nothing really. We loved it, we had everything we needed and more :) If you get super wet/muddy on a hike there is nowhere suitable to hang wet clothes, small issue really. We were there for a week and we managed fine :)

The surrounding was very nice as well as the house. We were welcomed by the very friendly host Luis. The gifts of eggs, tomatoes, traditional baked bread and home made jame was very appreciated. There was also the opportunity for a campfire! So we will highly recommend Quinta da Vinha do Souto!

Louisa is such a lovely and attentive host! the place is spacious, clean in a beautiful garden. it has everything a family needs. it was just perfect !
