Location, property and facilities were ideal for our family of 6. The fire and heating options were great and comfortable beds/lounge area. Close proximity to park and coffee/food options was great too

The highlight for us was definitely the close proximity to Taupō Town Centre (approximately 6-7mins drive) where we enjoyed memorable times eating at the local eateries. Laid Back on Lakewood truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, serenity, and family-friendly amenities. A definite five-star retreat for families looking to create lasting memories in Taupō!

Great house. Felt like being at home. Everything we needed

The fan heaters in the bedrooms didn't work. So when the fire went out the bedrooms got cold. But other than than everything was amazing
