"Remote farmhouse, absolutely perfect.👌"

House was excellent, enclosed garden for our dog. He loved running around and exploring. The house had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable home from home. We were so impressed on everything that was provided for us we wanted for nothing. Had a great week.

Windows are a little windy/noisy in bad weather but it was fine.

"Exceptional"

We loved everything! The cosy feel of the house, evenings in the conservatory over looking the water & Eagle spotting. The location was very close to access points for the heb way, lovely rugged sections with views over the sea to skye and hills surrounding. It was only 15 mins drive away from beaches and Tarbert. The house had everything you needed for a self catering trip.

There's nothing we particularly didn't like!

"Lovely peaceful place to stay"

Very quiet location, barely any traffic. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofas. The conservatory was great to sit in to enjoy the view while it was windy. The location has a remote feel but isn't far from the main island road. There is a real rustic vibe to this crofting community.

The weather was typically Hebridean! Four seasons in an hour!

The house is in a wonderful location with sea views. Inside the property if decorated and furnished to a high standard. It has been very well maintained and was very clean. We loved our stay.

"Cosy & comfortable cottage."

Love George's House. That was my 3rd time to the cottage. It is a fantastic base for exploring Harris & Lewis. A lovely, comfortable, cosy place to return to each evening. Excellent value for money.

"Above and beyond"

Everything you need and more is supplied. The tranquility of the area is mind blowing and I live in the borders countryside. Probably the quietist part of the island but easily accessible to all other areas in Harris. A real family sharing their old family home. Much appreciated.
