two of the bedrooms faced traffic and was noisy in the middle of the night.

the downstairs bathroom was too small to have a proper shower. Also half way, no hot water while shampooing. When stayed 2 nights there and was out till late at night and only discovered on the last day with the owner that the heaters were on refillable gas system. The owner told us we should have informed him and he would come and refill the gas. But shouldn't he have checked to make sure there is enough gas before our stay?

The location, the beds were super comfortable, spacious bedrooms, place to park your car, washer and well supplied.

The house inside is stylishly decorated, comfortable and clean. You enter from the back street and go upstairs to the first floor where there is a spacious and well equipped kitchen and dining room plus bright lounge. There is a small terrace with table and chairs off the dining room. There is a small shower room and toilet. Upstairs are three double /twin bedrooms with cupboards and comfortable beds. There is a small terrace from the back bedroom (with a useful washing line). The main bathroom is quite spacious with a good shower. The garage is useful in busy periods but mostly we parked for free on the street outside. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk into the old town on one direction and 10 minutes walk in the other to a supermarket. Our host communicated well and promptly and was most understanding about a small breakage (we replaced the bowl and left some money to compensate).

The house is on a corner so surrounded by streets and the front of the house is on a busy main road and so there is considerable noise from traffic and passers-by. However the double windows reduce the noise well at the front. The view from the front looks out to sea across a petrol station, recycling bins, bus station and car park. The back terraces look out to neighbouring properties and a warehouse. So the location is convenient but not picturesque - it depends what is more important to you. The first floor is above the garage at the back and a cafe at the front. You can hear noise from the cafe from early morning but it is not open at night. It did wake us up but wasn’t very bothersome as we are early risers anyway.
