The house and gardens were immaculate, it felt like home from home

Nothing it was perfect

Very comfortable, clean and fresh. a charming place to stay with plenty of space for three people.

Fabulous house with every added extra you could imagine. Beautiful bed linen, art work, fresh flowers from the garden. The breakfast supplied...bread,croissants, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt eggs, butter,milk, cereal..(.several choices), tea coffee, salt/pepper. Sue and Russell the owners live next door, with a great garden and a wee shop with fab gifts....they opened it up for us and us 4 ladies had a fine shop up prior to Christmas. Highly recommend staying in this charming house.

We were delighted with our three night stay at Ambers. The house was very well appointed, beautifully decorated with lovely soft furnishings. The veranda was perfect to catch the evening sun. The garden was in great shape with mown lawns, flowering shrubs and fruit trees. The lemon tree was laden and the Jasmine fragrant. Parking off road just beneath the veranda. Our hosts kindly left a great breakfast selection and the kitchen was well stocked. They have the house next door but sadly were unwell during our stay and let us know would be keeping a low profile - but we met them briefly on our last morning. This was an oustanding place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood a short distance north of Thames and a few hundred yards from the sea.

No complaints and no suggestions for improvement!

well placed close to Thames & a very quiet street! we could easily access all of the Coromandel by car & also take a leisurely stroll to the foreshore to watch the sunset. we would both recommend & also book this house again.

Very well equipped, large house with sunny decks and spacious rooms. Good location not far from Thames.
