The Old House at Belfield

As an experienced traveler The old Belfield house is one of the most superb home away from homes I have used for accommodation. The location is ideal for all areas in short distances and easy to navigate to..arriving at the old Belfield house we were in awe with the beauty of the surrounding farm , we where greeted by the excitement of six friendly beautiful pigs! This was there fore the best trip ever in the words of my 12 year old, the house will leave you speechless with its outstanding beauty , comfort and home amenities! Paudie and Samantha are the delightful husband and wife duo , from the start of my booking who made me feel at ease and welcomed. With constant communication being easy and quick.Paudie and Samantha went above on our arrival , welcome basket, birthday card for my mother, also the information booklet that they have made is outstanding and has absolutely everything. They really are part of the experience of staying in this tranquil area. The house had enough for any tried traveller to come in to coffee/tea , cereal , bread butter eggs and the house was warm and cosy with underground heating also! The beds are to hotel quality and you simply can’t help but to fall asleep with the comfort! The town is a simply 10 min drive with shopping centres and more. The ring of Kerry was 30 min drive away with dingle being 40 mins also. Making the location ideal for comming home to set out travelling in the other direction. I absolutely recommend The old house at Belfield to any one young/old family or solo to experience , it was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I cannot wait to return in 2025!! Everything exceeded expectations - house was perfect, pigs were perfect and Samantha and Paudie were wonderful and very helpful. Loved our stay!

Loved the cozy atmosphere, well stocked kitchen, communication with Paudie and Samantha, snacks and breakfast supplies provided, laundry facilities....so much goodness. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a semi-rural experience.

Perfect location and perfect hosts, would highly recommend it!

Wonderful hosts, who go out of their way to settle you in with a welcome pack and check in you regularly, really kind and friendly. Such a beautiful cottage to stay in very peaceful surroundings and the pigs are like little doggies following us around !
