No shampoo in bathroom.

It would be good to have access to a BBQ especially during the summer months and for longer stays

We loved the location, grounds, privacy, view, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, walk-in robe and storage, good quality towels and bedding. The cottage was beautifully presented and sparkling clean. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus when you're on the road. Twizel is an excellent base for Mt Cook National Park and Tekapo. Kea Cottage, being just a couple of minutes from the town centre, was perfect.

The layout and facilities were great.

There seemed to be a slight smell of tobacco as if someone had been smoking. You could smell it just near the bathroom door and near the fridge. I'm not sure if we imagined this or not. Anyway it took the edge off what was a wonderful place to stay. Nicely done

Great location with wonderful views of surrounding countryside & mountains, very clean & comfortable cottage with excellent facilities, very well presented on arrival, great communication from owners representatives, fantastic location to observe the night sky & would definitely return for another stay
