Quiet location, but easy to get to Abcoude, Amsterdam or go for a bike ride on the canals.

Important that visitors are good with climbing stairs.

"Ein ganz besonderer Aufenthalt in einer tollen Windmühle!"

Die Windmühle ist wunderschön und sehr gut gelegen, sowohl für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad in die Umgebung als auch nach Amsterdam mit dem Zug (nur 20 Minuten von Abcoude). Eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung!

Man ist Selbstversorger. Das ist für uns absolut in Ordnung und müssen uns nicht an fixe Frühstückszeiten richten, sondern können selbst bestimmen, wann und wie wir frühstücken.

Das wir wieder gehen mussten. :o( Der Preis ist schon ein bisschen hoch. Weniger wäre mehr und wir würden länger buchen. ;o)

Self catering

Due to the very HOT weather and being next to water..we hadn't planned for being bitten by gnats.However a quick trip to the local chemist to buy creams sorted the issue.

We stayed during almost record breaking heat, the property did not have AC (it did have fans!) and it was still the best part of our trip. Worth it!!
